Walks Programme for 2021

Denise Davies is our walks co-ordinator (telephone 01606 41251 or 07932 150516 or email Denisedavies@uwclub.net).

Jean Pritchett is responsible for publicising advance information aboaut the proposed walks on this website and in the Northwich Guardian (telephone 01606 76055 or email zpritchett@aol.com).

Our walking season for 2020 ended with the last organised walk on 1st November but due to changes in rules and guidance during the Covid pandemic, it has not been possible to arrange any formal walks during the winter period.

Now that a release from lockdown programme has been announced Denise has issued a provisional list of walking dates that will start on 17th May 2021.

It is still likely that walking numbers could be restricted so we have decided not to advertise walks for non members or to publish walking dates in the Northwich Guardian.  Additionally annual events such as the weekend away, day out by coach or the treasure hunt, are not being arranged but if the season progresses satisfactorily these could be introduced later.

Will leaders who are willing to lead a walk please notify Denise of the dates preferred so that she can compile an organised programme with named leaders; dates will be offered on a first come first served basis but there is no need to give details of the individual walks until about 3 weeks before the due date when full infomation should be sent to Jean Pritchett for publication on the website.
